JESSICA E. SIMPSON, IBCLC

Before specializing in lactation, my background was in Early Intervention, as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Currently, I balance my time between working in hospital as both SLP in NICU and as on the floor in postpartum as lactation consultant as well as private practice. In private practice, I offer home visits in Northern Virginia.

As an IBCLC (international board certified lactation consultant), my passion for assisting new mothers with breastfeeding stems from a deep seated belief in the transformative power of nurturing bonds between mother and child. I am driven by the profound impact breastfeeding can have on maternal and infant health, fostering not only physical well being, but also emotional connection. Guiding and supporting mothers through this journey is not just a profession, but a calling, rooted in the desire to empower women with knowledge and confidence. Witnessing the joy and relief on a mother's face when she achieves breastfeeding success fuels my dedication ensuring every mother receives compassionate, evidence based care tailored to her and her baby's unique needs.
